OUR PROJECTS

Our current projects include the #Pride Library, a collection of books that reflects Fairmont's diverse communities. Books from the library are available to teachers and visit our school garden on Fridays for outdoor "rainbow reading" at lunch and recess. New for 2023 is the Fairmont in Color Poster Project, a collection of over 150 diverse posters celebrating Fairmont's many communities in classrooms and common spaces. We also train parent volunteers to visit classrooms with the #Pride Library, fund teacher and staff training, host workshops for Fairmont parents, and plan meetings for our members, as well as pop-ups at all-school events.
