PRIDE LIBRARY

Our collection of children's books is available for any Fairmont teacher's classroom! Many of our books address gender, sexuality, and LGBTQ+ families, and all reflect the diversity of the Fairmont community. Many have accompanying lesson plans to make them easy for teachers to use. Training  is available for parents who want to volunteer by presenting these books in the classroom. 

 

It's our goal that every child at Fairmont will find "mirrors and windows" in the Rainbow Families Library: books in which they see themselves and books that show them other lives, the many wonderful ways people can be. Your donation will help grow the collection for a more welcoming school.
